Welcome

This collective is run by me, Anja. It´s originally existent since circa February of 2003, when I´ve created my first few fanlistings, but it was known under various names. Soon, I really got obsessed with making fanlistings to unite fans of a unique thing, so I quickly lost my overview of all the sites I´ve created by then. I liked the idea of a collective that would sum up all of these tiny places that are my 'Joinables'.

Why 'Amadora.it'?

La Amadora is spanish and stands for 'The Lover', 'The Enthusiast'. I found the name pretty fitting to myself and the things I like and appreciate. Also, the spanish word has a wonderful soft and passionate sound to it. So why a dot.it Domain? Because I am a sucker for more rare domain-endings than just the average .com, .net or for us in Germany - .de Domains.

My Favourites

So what are my favourite current fanlistings that I have under my wing? My most precious ones are still some of my oldest: People Miscellany > Physical Appearances > Vampiric Eyes and People Miscellany > Physical Appearances > Fangs.
I´m still proud that I had these ideas years back, even before the Mainstream Vampire and Twilight Hype. Real Vampires have *real* fangs. ;-)

Random Facts

I had the idea to nudge Forever Knight Fans into making Fanlistings for this fandom, and it all started in 2003 with my very first Fanlisting dedicated to a part of this fandom. Since then my interest wandered through many fandoms and subjects, where I dedicated fanlists to.
